1. Shopping, Minimum Order, & Shipping Fees
- Local Buyers (Hong Kong): There is no minimum order amount restriction for local orders. Free shipping is provided for orders of HK$1,000 or above. For orders under HK$1,000, a local shipping fee of HK$50 will be charged.
- Overseas Buyers (Non-Hong Kong): This online store does not accept overseas orders under HK$1,000. Overseas customers must ensure that the total amount in the shopping cart reaches HK$1,000 or above to proceed with checkout.
- Inventory Notice: The stock numbers shown on this website are not updated in real-time. The products you purchase may occasionally be out of stock. We appreciate your understanding.
- Out-of-Stock Refund Arrangement: If any product in your order is out of stock, we will arrange a refund for you. The relevant amount will be refunded using your original payment method. It is expected to take 7–14 working days for the refund to reflect on the credit card used for payment. The actual arrival time of the refund depends on the refund policy and processing procedures of different issuing banks. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
2. Delivery Coverage & Overseas Postage
- Delivery Coverage: This online store currently provides shipping services primarily to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
- Overseas Shipping Calculation: Overseas buyers are required to pay additional shipping fees. Once the order is confirmed, our company will contact you via email to provide the exact shipping cost and payment methods (calculated on a cost-reimbursement basis).
- Shipping Cost Estimation Reference: You may visit the Hongkong Post website to estimate the shipping cost and delivery time for your region, or contact our customer service directly. All shipping estimates provided before order confirmation are for reference only, and the actual charge will be based on the final shipping waybill.
- Dispatch Time: Once the order is confirmed and payment is completed, we will arrange shipment within 1–3 working days (excluding public holidays and weekends). Delivery time for certain overseas orders will depend on the actual transit times of local postal services.
3. Customs & Cross-Border Disclaimer
- Prohibited Items Check: Customers must verify on their own before placing an order that the purchased items are not classified as prohibited goods in the destination country.
- Customs Detainment Risk: After the goods are dispatched, if they are detained, confiscated, or destroyed by customs at the destination for any reason, our company will neither re-ship the items nor arrange a refund.
4. Returns & Refunds Policy
To ensure food safety and premium quality, Maxchoice applies different return standards depending on the product type:
- Special Core Products (Important Statement): Due to the precious nature and health safety considerations of the products, photos of [Dried Bird's Nest] and [Cordyceps Sinensis] items will be sent to customers for confirmation prior to dispatch. These two categories of products are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable. Please double-check your items carefully before ordering.
- General Food / Products: Due to food safety and hygiene considerations, unless the product itself has severe defects, breakage, packaging spoilage, or does not match the ordered item, food products cannot be returned or exchanged once opened, consumed, or spoiled due to improper storage by the customer.
- Special Refund Policy: For any valid return or exchange cases involving General Food / Products (excluding refunds due to out-of-stock items), our company will only issue store credit for your next purchase. No cash or alternative refund methods will be arranged.
- Return & Exchange Process: If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect (excluding Dried Bird's Nest and Cordyceps Sinensis), please take photos or videos of the item within 48 hours of receipt and contact our customer service team using the contact info below. We will handle the verification and follow-up as quickly as possible.
